But essentially the idea is that your spell cards can be upgraded by collecting a reagent called spellements, which is unique to each spell card. It's a cool concept which arguably hasn't been executed very well. Guilds will be coming to wizard101 and from what I can see, many more cantrip spells will become useful in guild context but you don't need to worry about it now so I'm not going to include it here. You need 3 people to cast magic touch on the cantrip chest simulatenously to open it, and you will be rewarded with spellements (explained later). The other useful cantrip spell is the magic touch which can be used to open cantrip chests, which are like wooden chests you can find throughout the spiral. Your cantrip level needs to be at the same level or higher to get the spell from farming. The main one people want are the second teleportation mark (which you receive at lvl 6), and teleport to commons, oasis, reagents square, jade palace, basilica, and north guard spells which can each be farmed from the final boss of those world's respectively. Some people like to fish simply to try to catch all of types of fish in the game (fish can be stored in the sunken palace, Aquariams, and in your back pack).Ĭurrently most cantrip spells are useless. In that time, it is easiest to fish for rare fish and earn a lot of money and/or mega snacks and reagents quickly. Fishing uses energy but members get a day or something where there is no fishing energy cost. As for the fish themselves, generally you can sell them for gold and some can be used to make mega snacks. However, when fishing you can obtain a chest which can drop some relatively rare reagents, and some cool stitch wands (called code wands). Just an entertainment activity to pass time in general. I won't go into too much detail for lack of space so I'd advice you to use my answer as an introduction and read more online on wiki and stuff. I don't do PvP so I can't help you on that but I can explain what I know about the rest.
